Hispanic Heritage month

After about a year and half of no campus events, ASB held a “Hispanic Heritage month” celebration on campus, Wednesday, September 15. The celebration was experienced through Corn Hole toss, ring toss, slime-making, Folklorico dance lessons, musical chairs, the yelling of Loteria pieces, Spanish music played joyously aloud, and the crowd favorite Candy! The event was made to celebrate the history and rich culture of the HIspanic community, but the biggest celebration of all is the students being able to come together as one. Students smiling everywhere through the gifts of candy, and laughing trying to break a pinata that seemed nearly unbreakable.
