The Value Schools Foundation is continuing to work with leaders throughout our community to find new and exciting ways for donors and friends to make a lasting difference in the lives of our students – by sharing their professional insight and talent with young people eager to learn.
Ms. Liang shared her personal struggles and successes in building a dynamic career as a financial analyst, and in becoming Miss California and a health and lifestyle entrepreneur. She explored how students can build resilience and tenacity through storytelling, authenticity, and courage. And she signed quite a few autographs.
With her focus on global citizenship, Ms. Liang reminded our students of the importance of developing one’s potential and giving back to the communities in which we live. Ms. Liang’s message aligns precisely with our five values and supports the work we do with students at Value Schools each and every day.
